The Battle Creek Master Singers (BCMS) ensemble was formed in 1999. Originally named Ars Voce, in 2016 the decision was made to rename the ensemble
the
Battle Creek Master Singers.
Founding Director Dr. Mark Wells led the ensemble with a 25-year tenure, before resigning in early 2023.
The 2023/24 season began with current BCMS ensemble member, and founding member Brooks Grantier serving as the interim-director.
In January 2024, BCMS announced Dr. Clayton Parr as their new Artistic Director. Parr currently leads the 14-voice ensemble as they celebrate their 25th Anniversary season.
